  16. QuickBase 4.1 and EOF adaptor
  17. for HP, Intel and Motorola computers running NEXTSTEP.

  19. The QuickBase client-server database provides advanced features and
  20. graphically based utilities to make
  21. it easy to build database applications. Along with support for the
  22. latest in object-oriented tools, including
  23. Enterprise Objects Framework, QuickBase features transaction
  24. processing, derived columns, application
  25. notification, index training, dynamic SQL, and schema-design programs.

  27. NextCenter Danmark, the leading NEXTSTEP system integrator in
  28. Denmark, is using QuickBase 4.1 to
  29. build a state-of-the-art command-and-control system for the Royal
  30. Danish Police. "The
  31. command-and-control center handles all 911 calls for Copenhagen,
  32. the capitol of Denmark, and its
  33. vicinities, which in total encompasses approximately 1.5 million
  34. people", says Geert B. Clemmensen,

  44. new version also supports KANJI and other 16 bit character sets, as

  48. $92,233,720,368,547,760.00 in any currency.

  50. QuickBase index training provides automatic performance tuning
  51. based on use.  Servers are able to build
  52. optimal indexes on the fly, eliminating the need for guesswork on
  53. the part of application designers.  Index
  54. training works in the background and does not obstruct the
  55. multi-threaded processing of user requests.

  57. QuickBase is available on all NEXTSTEP platforms, with plans for
